The General Surgery Clinic at Punjab Rangers Teaching Hospital provides consultation for general & surgical conditions, as well as pre and post-operative follow-up for patients with traumatic injuries, wound management, suture removal & patient education.
The General surgery clinic also performs consultation and surgery on medical conditions involving the breast, endocrine system, gastrointestinal tract, colon, liver, pancreas and rectum.
One day operations (Day Case Surgeries) are also performed in our specially equipped Operating Theaters, including cyst & skin tag removals, incision & drainage of abscesses, rigid sigmoidoscopies, hemorrhoid evaluation & management. These procedures will usually be scheduled for a subsequent visit and typically are not done at the time of initial consultation.
Our physicians use minimally invasive procedures whenever possible to reduce pain and speed recovery
