24/7 Emergency Service

Staffed 24/7 with skilled doctors and nurses, our emergency department offers high-quality care in a modern, spacious facility. Vast array of emergencies including medical, surgical Pediatric and Obstetrics / Gynecology are treated here on daily basis. The department is fully equipped and staffed to cater for emergency handling requirements of all age groups. It has the support of on-call Physicians and Surgeons and the backup of the Critical Care Team.

Intensive Trauma Care (ITC)

Our Intensive Trauma Care Unit (ITC) provide focused care of the highest international standards to patients requiring constant and close monitoring, and high level of interventions. Our staff looks into the status of every patient’s progress to ensure that they receive the best possible treatment.
For critical referral cases, the hospital has partnered with renowned health organizations and institutions to facilitate safe transfers both from and to the hospital facilities.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

It is a 9 bed unit under the operations of well-trained accredited pediatricians who are experts in neonatal intensive care management. It is equipped with the most up-to-date machines and facilities needed for the care of sick and high-risk newborns delivered. It also provides the intensive care needed for babies diagnosed with preterm, pneumonia, meconium aspiration, sepsis, convulsions, birth asphyxia, persistent pulmonary hypertension, babies etc.

Medical ICU

The Punjab Rangers Teaching Hospital, Intensive care unit (ICU) Department is the place to treat critically ill patient suffering from life threatening medical and surgical conditions. Equipped with highly advanced equipment along with qualified and trained medical and surgical staff / consultants.
We offer critical care services in the domains like CCU, MICU, SICU, NICU, PICU.

Surgical ICU

The surgical intensive care unit (SICU) is a specialized patient care area designed to care for critically ill surgical patients in the perioperative period, which may include preoperative, postoperative, and post trauma injury management.
The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is the multispecialty medical care center for critically ill patients who require surgery or are recovering from surgery.

Modern Operation Theater

The operation Theatre is one of the most important areas within a hospital or other healthcare facility. We have four Operation Theatre with fully equipped with latest technology.

The majority of hospitals will have at least one operating Theatre which can be used by various surgical specialties to perform elective and emergency procedures.

Blood Bank

We believe safe blood saves lives. Blood Bank at Punjab Rangers Teaching Hospital is among one of the best blood bank in the city and is ISO-9001 certified. Blood is collected exclusively from nonprofessional donors. All the blood is screened for Hepatitis B and C, HIV, Syphilis and Malaria. Screening of blood and blood components for transfusion transmissible infections (TTI’s) is done on enzyme immunoassays (EIA’s) and chemiluminescent Immunoassay (CLIA’s) as recommended by WHO.

We are available 24/7 to offer the best possible service and we would like to make it as simple as possible for you and your loved ones to take your medicine as prescribed by your doctor. We have a range of medicines to make it easier.

Hospital pharmacy’s primary mission is to manage medication usage in hospitals and other medical centres.

Dialysis Unit

Our Dialysis Unit is dedicated to the understanding of kidney diseases, their development, progression, treatment and prevention. The department’s mission is to provide outstanding cutting edge clinical care and to pursue extensive basic and clinical research and training program. The department is filled with people passionate in their academic pursuit.

Which exams and screenings you need depends on your age, health and family history, and lifestyle choices for this purpose our ultramodern outpatient center is well equipped to serve our patients needs by offering a wide array of outpatient services.

Modern Laboratory

The Department of Pathology has been at the forefront of introducing new testing methods for clinical and research uses.
In addition to providing an ever-expanding menu of tests available for clinical use, Educational activities are a key component of the departmental mission. Pathology Department provides a wide variety of clinical tests and investigations using a Laboratory Automation System / Laboratory Information System.
